Given its size (11 inches/28cm) it needs a long tank, and a 5 or 6 foot tank is advisable. The data on PC mentions it glides more than many species in this genus which are more rapid swimmers, so you might manage with a 4-foot/120cm tank, but I would myself use no less than a 5-foot. Chunks of wood, floating plants.
The PC entry has a reference to Burgess' monumental
Atlas of Freshwater and Marine Catfishes which I have, and it mentions this species, like all woodcats, is nocturnal, very much so, rmaining in a chunk of wood all day. I had one of the smaller species many years ago, and I never saw them in all the years I had them, except I did "train" them to appear at feeding time. But if I went into the fish room at say 12 midnight well after the lights were out, I could with a flashlight see them charging everywhere. You may never see this fish, just be aware of that.
