Does this little one have nprmal amounts of white on its mouth? Or should i feed them medicated food just in case

Do a big water change and gravel clean the substrate.

Clean the filter if it hasn't been done in the last 2 weeks.

Add some salt (2 heaped tablespoons of salt per 20 litres (5 gallons) of water. Keep salt in there for 2 weeks).

Monitor the fish and if it spreads in the next 24-48 hours, it will need treating with antibiotics because it's Columnaris. If it doesn't spread then it's a fat lip (bruising).

I just did that, and also fed some medicated food, today it is pretty much gone.

When I kept a lot of swordtails, something like that would appear on individuals fairly often, and disappear with a water change. Since I did water changes weekly, it could as well been time that was doing the healing. It didn't usually come back. I took it to be fat lips from minor injuries.

What's in the medicated food? If it's antibiotics, the responsible thing to do now is a full course of 2 weeks. You can't take one shot with an antibiotic and walk away. You don't want to contribute to any resistance.

yeah, i agree, the water change made them all go back to normal
is it okay if i fed a tiny bit of maracyn to a 75 gallon?

You know what your doctor would say - once you start a course of antibiotics....

At this point you'll have stopped though, so you can hope there are no negative results. If there were every time an aquarist misused antibiotics, humans would be extinct.

And the doctor would also say to use the full dose not "a tiny bit". That's how bugs develop resistance.
