So, this morning I did the usual water tests
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10ppm (and holding stable)
2 consecutive water changes this week of 25%
All great!
Today I decided it might be fun to feed the shrimp some frozen bloodworm.. I cut a tiny corner (1cm cube) off one of the blocks and dropped it in, three shrimp immediately went crazy, I don’t get it? The temperature around that block would have been cold i guess because of it being frozen, none of them were interested in trying it. The three amigos were like it for about two hours, must have been exhausted. The one that molted was just chilled out on the log eating away :)
Gravelled vacced them out I can see one bit in there.. will vac again tomorrow.
They’re quite happy now, eating and staying still, one shrimp as i mentioned above did molt this morning but that was hours before I gave them the worms. maybe tomorrow I’ll defrost a bit in tank water first and see if they like them.
Another thing… shall I get two more? They seem to exclude one guy some of the time but other times they’re all together, I can see the order of the pack but wondering if one or two more would be better. (I have 4)

They’ve all been in here for about three weeks I’d say :)
