Just to let you know that the Bala shark is going to get alot bigger and should be moved to a bigger tank soon if not now.

just to let you know-your pink fish is artificially dyed. go to deathbydyeing.org to see why you shouldnt buy those fish. i know theres nothing you can do now, just dont buy another one :)
your vote as a consumer counts :)

yes, i sadly found this out after i bought him :( i was quite upset too :grr: i didnt want to abandon him or anything tho... i've had him for a couple months so far and he's seems to be doing good so hopefully he wont die soon

ya i've had 3 strawberry tetras for about 4 months now...btw, i got them as a gift...b-4 someone freaks out!!!! lol... i didnt even know about the dying thing unitell one of my friends told me about it when he seen them... it's too bad...but i have to say mine are super healthy, and if people keep dying them..people will keep buying them, u'd think the fish would have a better life in a tank with a proper owner..than in a shop, with people tapping the glass all the time, and usually over-crowded tanks.
Many people that do buy dyed fish , dont know about it, like the person that got me mine knew nothing about it, just that they looked pretty, and that i love pink!!lol :D :D :D :D

GAH! I have the exact same fish! One of my friends gave me her tank + fish! GAH, i never knew what it was till now...oh horrible, it's a cutie but poor little guy. :-( And to think i wanted to get him a pal...

Iam totaly against dying fish, but even as many times as i explain to people that it's not their natural color and that they can contract diseases easier they still get them. It's best to tell them, if they dont listen let it go, you did what you could. It's supply and demand, tough world we live in, sadly we're surrounded by a bunch of stupid people too(not ya'll, the brain child that decided he needed to color his fish). :( This supports part of what nmarc3627 said.

EDIT: Your fishies are gorgeous BTW  , forgot what i was posting about after that rant.
