Peacock gudgeon photos

Hmmm... But I thought if a fish ate too much it would put pressure on the swim bladders and cause issues
If a normal healthy person eats too much, do they have breathing problems or other internal problems?

Nature wouldn't do something like that to an animal. Fish and all creatures are opportunistic feeders and eat as much as they can, whenever they can get food. If fish developed swim bladder problems from eating too much, most of the fish would die after feeding.

Swim bladder problems are usually caused by poor genetics (weak fish).

Hmm... Well luckily I've only seen a few with symptoms during my time caring for them...

I'm not sure that you know what you are looking at. Be careful that you don't jump to the wrong conclusions. Breeding fish is a delicate and sometimes complicated process.

Yes. It is...
Its a bit hard to tell what's wrong with a creature that small...
In the next few months they should be ready to sell and I'm also planning on keeping a few of them for myself. I wanted to get a couple more females in the tank anyways...

These pics are blurry sorry... I was in a rush to get them because he rarely comes out and only comes out to tango with the female 😅... You can see in the first pic how he is flaring out. He was also shaking his fins to "dance" for the female. Really cool

Wow, those pics are amazing!! Your male is stunning!!
Thank you! He rarely comes out but when he does I always just watch him... He is the most stunning, especially when he "dances"

My male came out for a bit today... Took a while to get a good pic

A

any editing on the photo?
Yes. I said before that I enhance the photo because while the camera captures the phot clearly, it doesn't get the color. So I enhance it to where it looks more like it would if you were sitting right in front of my tank.
So yes I do but not to where it's an unreasonable amount of color. It's just to make it more realistic
