So I haven't been watching my tank very often anymore because it has been doing pretty good, when I test the water the water is usually fine. And my fish look fine. Now I just took a moment to inspect my tank to see whats been going on you know. And I see a worm. It was on the glass moving around. It was honestly a pretty thick worm but it was tiny. I dont know where it is now because i tried taking it out and i think it fell back in. then i looked at the tank for a second time and THERE WAS ANOTHER ONE! This one was skinny and attached to the wall though. And my koi betta ate that one while i was looking at it. So can someone help me get rid of this, I have no clue what they are but I hate them already and just want them gone.

tbh it should be fine and you prob cant remove them except if you use some sort of med, but all the dead worms would cause yucky spike
you can move some fish into the tank to eat the worms if u want some gone

Detritus worm probably. Harmless:) pics would be good though
Here is some pictures of the ones that I seen in my tank. These aren’t my photos, but they look like the ones that were in my tank. I just found them on Google. They look identicle though

Yep:) just harmless little worms. The fish will eat them, and they'll die off if you feed less and keep the gravel clean

What fish could I add to my aquarium? It’s a 10 gallon with a divider

If you see detritus worms on the glass, it is a sign the tank is not as clean as it could be. Do a big water change and gravel clean the substrate and the worms will go back into the gravel where they normally live.

Okay 👌 I will do a deep gravel cleaning since I haven’t done one in a while

And don't overfeed...
How often are WC's done on the tank?

Edit. I did the water change and still is a lot of detritus. And a new type of small worms. Anyone know what I can do now? To get rid of most of these things
