Some awesome news...

I wanted my fish in this tank two weeks ago so they could spawn over summer, I have now lost about five weeks of that spawning time. I'm not a happy boy, but my plants are doing well. :)

I hope you know I'm not being unsympathetic. If I'm laughing, it's because I've been there. Hang tough. The good things will come. :)

I have a betta named BB (betta boy) in a 10 G. He’s from eBay. I’m not very clever when it comes to naming pets. Our French Bulldog has a very long name on his AKC papers & we renamed him Rocky. Our Bull Mastiffs had very long Latin names & we called them Spike & Bubba. Speaking of Rocky, did you know The Rock has French Bulldogs?

I didn't know the Rock kept French Bulldogs. Has anyone ever told you that you look a lot like him???
 
I had a 20 gallon on my dresser when I was a teenager. It had a homemade glass top, and the cat liked to sit on it for the warmth. One day I heard a noise, and the glass had snapped. Not many people have seen a cat swim in an aquarium.

So hang in there. You'll get your fish, and maybe some other unexpected surprises. The cat was fine, btw, though a wet cat running through a house can make a mess.

Yes, many times! And every single one met my dangerous arrows, so the comment was never repeated by the same guy. 😹😹😹

Take a look at my UK Twitter friend’s Frenchie. He’s 3, same age as Rocky. The UK owner just had his boy neutered out of fear someone would dognap him for breeding purposes. Has your wife ever considered the same

Its also frustrating when you've been SOOO patient through the whole process and then you have to wait another month to get fish in a tank.
 
Not quite following all your threads, Rocky. Been super busy. How are you going to cycle the new betta tank? I tried the Dr. Tim‘s methods you’re using on one tank & absolutely hated it. Before & after that aborted attempt, I‘ve gone with filters cycled in an established tank. Have two big Fluval AC 110s cycling in two tanks now, waiting for the 125 G to arrive. Been >3 weeks & ETA of new tank unknown. They say there’s a big nationwide glass shortage.
