Hello,
I got my guppy pearl over 35 days ago! and the shop owner and I both agreed she looked pregnant upon purchase. Rounded belly, dark gravid spot.. but she was kept in an all female tank. But the shop said she could have gotten pregnant before they received her. anyway, she’s still pregnant! She’s bigger and still has a dark gravid spot and aggressive behavior towards the other female guppy. I only have 2 females and no males.. i’ve been waiting until she gives birth to get any more. My tank is 20 gallons and fully cycled with lots of plants. Any idea why she’s putting off giving birth? the tank is only at 75 degrees for my panda cory’s. is the temp too cold? Also she poops like crazy and eats everyone’s food. Is she just a fat guppy?

She does look pregnant. But a guppy's pregnancy is between 3-6 weeks. So, it's not always 4 weeks. A good appetite is a good sign. But it will result in more waste, of course. And she's probably a bit dominant that she's eating all the food away. Furthermore, she looks to be a healthy guppy.
