Now she's had to downsize to a 55g and a 10g. But she said that it'll take 5-7 months for java ferns to really fill out...Hm, not sure. I never really paid attention to the time table. Several months, I'd guess. But it does happen eventually.
Yah, agreed. The reason I said that was because that means obviously they have food source. They havent gone onto the wood (as far as I know) so that means there must be a super light layer of algae and biofilm.That's starting to look rather nice! I don't know if I'd call snails pooping "good," but it's normal and healthy, I suppose.
