Nano Tank Ideas

Tip - if you have a male and female snail, the female will lay eggs above the water line, looking like a densely packed bunch of grapes. If you don't want to be inundated with baby snails, keep an eye out for egg clusters and remove them.

Everyone seems to be getting on well. Sprite has exploded, cabomba is almost to the surface, and moss is growing. Even my tiny baby fern is getting taller (this was a 1/4" propagation I cut off a plant in the main tank).



I notice that the shrimp spend A LOT of time on the pre-filter sponge. Normal or is suction too high?

Looks very nice....shrimp gather where there's lots of tasty detritus (like there usually is on sponge filters )
