As far as I know, freshwater limpets don't swim around in the water column...and if they were such creatures, then they create no more of a problem than other snails/molluscs.I actually think they are tiny limpets. After a little research, it seems they are harmless, if kept in small numbers.
Hopefully their population doesn’t escalate.
