Lovely Strains. Settling in well with the others. Two eating on day one. The larger of the 3 observing the food but yet to take a bit. To be expected. I had one discus that didn’t eat for 3 weeks once ! Funny things.

Wow they are really pretty fish.

Any fish that doesn't eat for 3 weeks is definitely sick.
Most common diseases with Discus are internal infection (either worms/bacteria/ protozoa) and gill flukes.

You can use Metronidazole to cure the internal parasites.
Most Discus are infected when they are in the fish stores.
Some LFS staff feed them with frozen blood worms which will cause internal infection.

It’s eating fine now. I think it was stress. And isolated issue. They are all from a selected breeder of just discus. All share same water and fed beefheart mix. It was very youngest of the bunch.
