Will my pregnant guppy die before giving birth?

I have a guppy that seems to be having a little bit of a rough time with her pregnancy. She’s one of my eldest breeder fish and I think this may be her last pregnancy. She looks a bit swollen from her bottom. A little sad about it, I also wanted to add that she’s in a breeder box because the other fish were pecking at her and she swims a little funny. She eats just fine tho. By the looks of it... do you think she’ll make it through her pregnancy to birth her fry?

Typically when a livebearers abdomen "squares off", fry are eminent. I would suspect that you will have fry very soon. From the image she looks old, but not poorly in health.

Terrible thing happened. I recently adopted a dojo... hadn’t seen it act aggressively towards any other fish and the owner said it was “friendly” with guppies. Well to my surprise... while I wasn’t home... he jumped into the breeding box and went straight for her babies. ?? I was super excited for her delivery because she was one of my favorite fish and all her babies have grown into beautiful guppies with many colors. Ugh. Well I decided to give the dojo back and placed it in a bucket until the first owner comes for him. So heart broken.

Wow, that's brutal ? sorry for your loss... I hate eel/worm-like fish anyway, they give me the heebie-jeebies! ... That thing will haunt my dreams ?

Sorry for your loss. That's brutal. I've never kept loaches, so I don't know how their interact with other fish.

This was my first time with one so I really didn’t have any idea and believed what I was told. I guess it’s my fault for not making research.

No one witnessed it but I found the dojo inside the breeding box with the dead fish. Connected two & two and immediately removed him out of the tank before any other accidents happened.
