well I found my favourite fish I own and it’s the threadfin acara’s haha, they are just full of personalities and look beautiful i love them so much! Does anyone own one?

Hahaha I only just noticed that! That's hilarious and they are too cute, when I go to watch them they come right up to the glass and its so adorable

I actually can't wait! It will be awesome to see them with their long fins and they already are quite big now so I dread to think what they'll look like fully sized hahaThey are only babies, wait till the males get big and start developing their fins. Then they are stunning looking fish.
Not familiar with these but the fish in that second picture needs a smooch.

Take note that this fish can get very aggressive when it gets older (2-3 yrs old).
There are stories of them killing each other from other fish forums.

To be honest before I bought them the only time I ever heard of/saw them was on a video at this convention in australia and ever since I fell in love haha. They don't seem very common in the hobby probably because of their weird breeding environment being hard to replicate
