This is my beautiful Pleco, been with me since October last year and was about an inch in size then. So I'm estimating 4-5 months old. I know, still too young to properly sex, but what are our guesses so far?

I think so too, so far. There are a couple of bristles on 'her' nose. I'm just enjoying watching the change over the weeks

Oh yes, courgette is the favourite - trouble is she makes such a mess with it haha. Carrots tonight I think
Looks like a female to me.

You know what. I have coconut caves somewhere?! I've had an axolotl in the tank for years so all the nice small fish ornaments were put away. I'm sure I have one spare still!Here's my Blondie, hanging out in her coco cave...sorry for the reflections on the glass

Females only have spines kind of around the lip areas males can get them going right up the back of the head . I love my bristlenose plecos. Got hundreds of baby's here x
