Major tank issue - sickness of some sort

Ok, so I have one 55g freshwater display tank.

Nitrate 20
Nitrite 0
Hardness 150
Chlorine 0
Alkalinity 100
pH 7.2

The above readings have been steady for at least 6 months.
Tank mates are: 2 male guppies, 2 dwarf gourami -1 male 1-female, 4 nerite snails, and 9 Julii corydora catfish.
A few months ago I added the female dwarf gourami after quarantining her for over a month and treating for a single white spot on her side with multiple meds, finally prazipro cleared it up.
After adding her to the tank the male gourami was being sassy so he got a “time out” in the quarantine tank (20g) for about 2 weeks and removed 2 neons to put in my hospital tank (3g) for what I suspect is neon tetra disease as they have not responded to any treatment. (One has huge bump on mouth and white by tail and the other swims at a slant).

I added the male gourami back and they’ve been getting along much better together now.

HOWEVER, as soon as he was back in the tank I noticed small salt like white spots all over him and his fins. Since ich is so contagious I started treating the whole tank thinking everyone was exposed. The ram cichlid that is now in the quarantine tank (got him/her just before Christmas) also has a spot over it’s eye and white spots on its fins. I have gone through PraziPro, Gordon’s ich attack, and now Hakari Ich x.

In the course of all of this I have lost 2 guppies and 2 nerite snails, all showing no signs of sickness at any time.

One of my favorite fish, a corydora catfish, now is showing white patches all over. The female gourami has white poop and a chunk missing from her tail fin. The male gourami now his white streaks over his head, white specs on side fins, and his more reclusive when I’m not at the tank talking to him. No one has issues with eating.

Please help! Any insight would be wonderful!

also if you are sure your fish is not constipated use salt or sometheing
im not sure if its safe for gouramis and stuff

I’ve read salt isn’t good for scaless fish like corydora. I’ve used salt no problem with my dwarf gourami though.

yea dont use it on cory. use something like bettafix? ive heard of it before but dk what it is

you should seperate and serch up how to treat seperatley

The white patch on the gourami's eye is excess mucous or a cataract, most likely mucous.

The Corydoras appears to have some excess mucous on its body, which is probably caused by the chemicals/ medication.

Stringy white poop is either an internal bacterial infection, internal protozoan infection, or intestinal worms. The following link has info on stringy white poop and how to treat it.

If the neons are still alive after several days, they don't have neon disease because it kills fish very quickly (usually within 24-48 hours of showing a faded red or blue line). Post pictures of the neon tetras.

I don't see any white spot on the fish so presumably that has been treated, although the parasites might be dividing in the substrate. In which case you will need to keep medication in there for at least 4 days after all the white spots have fallen off the fish.

The Cory seems to have fungus but see nothing on others. Need clearer pics. I don’t think this has to do with ammonia. What is your water temp? I see none but I would treat ich with heat at 86F and dissolved aquarium salt at 1/2 tablespoon per every 5G of water. Check on Gourami but cories can handle the salt for short period. Didn’t hurt my snails but you may want to move them. Ich X is the one thing Cory gives bad advice about. It does nothing. Do daily 25% water changes and add back 1/4 tablespoon of dissolved aquarium salt each day (except 1st day when you ad 1/2 tablespoon). Do this for 14 days. The salt should help fungus too. Gravel vac every 2 days to pick up ich parasites. I also feed mine Garlic Guard. Ich hates garlic and salt.

agree with garlic gaurd. move the snails they dont like any meds or additives

It's dilute melafix; it's made more dilute because you'd have to use a tiny amount of melafix in a typical small betta tank and it's easier to measure if you can use a larger volume.
But despite the name, bettafix - and melafix and pimafix - can cause problems for all labyrinth fish be they bettas or gouramis.

So am I only to use salt and garlic guard, plus heat?

Should I add back my chemical filters?

I have had only nitrazorb, bio balls, matrix, and sponges going while I was medicating
