Too Many Snails???

So how many snails are too many? I know @Colin_T will say 1/2 is too many. Seriously though, how do you determine if you have too many? I have MTS and ramshorn. The bladder snails died out, thank goodness.

Its too many if:

1. You dont like seeing as many
2. Theyre eating your plants
3. More mess to clean during maintenance than normal
4. When you cant see your fish because snails plastered to glass.

Once my baby tank has a population of snails like this, I give them away by the jar full

Thanks! I cleaned mine at about that point. Tank started looking like a snail tank. Ugh!
