corydoras problem something is wrong

Be wary it could be a sign of gill flukes, but they also could be really hungry. Sometimes a few of mine go up top if its around expected feeding times and do this, but if they did it all the time id worry maybe not getting enough to eat

Not sure if this is similar, but I know my syno when he expects feeding time, he goes on his belly and glides around the top then darts back down. Do their gills look slimy or red? Maybe adding an airstone could help?

I would suggest that you try to move more water across the base of the tank you may find that the water is a little stale down there, do any of the other fish hang around the bottom of the tank

I will try to feed them more today...How do I know if it's gill flukes?

The gillls look fine in person, my camera reallly makes them more red and it doesn't look slimy. I will add an airstone and feed them more today.

The other fish don't go at the bottom of the tank exept sometimes the pearl gouramies to explore.

@Colin_T maybe you could diagnose them? Tbh I don't think it's the oxygen or the food, some of them are getting really weak and just float or let them self sink to the bottom. Maybe it's hard to see it in person and the camera is better, the gills look red on photo

This is the from the document of a medication I'm currently using (eSha gDex) and your symptoms does sound familiar for flukes:

No worries. Before treatment it’s recommended that your water parameters are good. Best of luck.

What are your ammonia, nitrites and nitrates like. (Numbers please)
Mine used to do that when I made the mistake of fish in cycling. Once I water changed daily and added and air stone they stopped. How long has your tank been set up?

I only have nitrite test, it's at 0, I have so much plants especially floating plants that I doubt I have high nitrate, I am doing a water change today also (30%). It has been set up for 7 months.

Apologies if I have missed it, are you feeding them also? I've never let mine rely on remnants. In fact I deliberately feed theirs first everyday and then feed the flakes

One of the catfish simply looks like it is looking for food at the surface.
The other catfish that is popping its head out of the water is the one to watch. It looks ok from a health perspective but it shouldn't be poking its head out of the water like that.

A longer video showing the fish near the bottom and feeding might give more information but at this stage I would say monitor the problem and see how it goes.

It's been going on for a month, has it gotten worse during that time?

Are you adding any chemicals/ plant fertilisers to the tank?

Gill flukes can be treated with salt. Add 2 heaped tablespoons of rock salt for every 20 litres of water. Keep the salt in the tank for 4 weeks and then stop using it.
