This my 30 gallon hard water tank which is currently occupied by 13 platy fry / young adults and a snail. I was planing on redoing this tank into possibly a soft water tank but was usig it as a QT tank until then and a platy I had in QT decided to have fry.

Looks good! im seeing a familiar pattern with the fry nurseries. Basically some floating plants tangled at the top? I got delayed today but I’m getting some tomorrow. Hopefully my pregnant molly can hold off until then

I net my fry and put them in a tank just for fry, but my fry are not livebearer fry here, so... they require a little more care in smaller containments until they move to this tank to grow out in

Ooh what type of fry are they? I’m curious about non Livebearer fry. I heard it is hard to breed fish who aren’t Livebearers

Sparkling Gourami fry, pygmy corydoras fry, and i just found homes for all of my trilineatus corydoras fry too.

Lots of raising baby brine shrimp to feed babies lol

Cory fry are a little bit easier than the other egg layer fry as they start larger (except the pygmy cories) so they can be started on baby brine shrimp and microworms right away.
