So final count of pygmy cory eggs ended up being 47!! The goofy little turds laid 3 eggs on a ramshorn snail which I found later lol

And Littlefoot is finally moving to his final home in my 55 with the others!

Blacktip, she is a bit more on the elusive side and I've been watching her close in case she needs to be put back in a grow out as she isn't growing as fast as Solo in the 55g.

I love that you found some eggs on the snail shell. That's hilarious
Its not the first time it's happened either hahaha

 Aww! I love the cories!
2 name suggestions for the guppies- Turquoise for the male and River for the female.
I do like River for the girl! Not 100% sold on Turquoise though

ooohh! What is that hungry someone who was snacking on eggs? Never seen one before, it's beautiful!
Thats a sparkling gourami :) I've got a heck ton of fry from them too, that one is the mother in the photo

These guys are little pigs!

Weaning the larger fry all onto adult foods. The sparklers seemed offended i gave them crushed flakes. Many spit those out. But they did take to powdered bug bites okay.

So, that male guppy youngster I decided to keep? Hes a jerk haha he started attacking everyone else so he got put into the goldie tank with the goldfish and he's tried to boss them around too. Mean little guy haha

I moved around fry. After eating their smaller siblings... ive got 64 sparkling gourami fry moved to the 10 gallon with the trilineatus juveniles.

I moved the 6 older pygmy cory fry to the 4 gallon the sparklers were in.

The younger pygmy fry are in the 2.5 gal and today a bunch more sparkling gourami fry were put in with them too since dad decided on nest #8! No older siblings to eat them this time.

Great pictures  I count 12 out of 13 platy fry still alive in my 30 gallon fry tank. I hope the 13th one is just hiding. I have not see any tetra fry:confused: I worked hard to get the water down to 50ppm but my PH is still around 7.9-8.0. I have not seen any mating dances since converting the tank to a sunken forest instead of a LOTR castle. The castle was not natural but it got the tetras in the mood.

And the 3 trilineatus cories I kept are doing good in the 55 with their family shoal

First is "Blacktip". She has a really bold black spot in the dorsal and a straight vertical line on her side.

"Solo" was the one that hatched by himself. His spots form horizontal lines down his back.

And Littlefoot, who has nice rounded spots like a leopard.

How long ago did you change the castle out?
When i had my neons I had some spawning behaviors once temps went over 78F

That was several months ago just before the last big tank TOTM contest and then a few weeks ago I changed it out to sand. I am running at 75.7F but increase it to 79-80F or drop it to 72-74 when I do water changes to try and simulate the rainy season. It seemed to work when I had the castle. I had 14 red tetra fry make it to adulthood and a couple of glow light fry show up but lost them.

Just some photos.

Sparkler babies, couple days old.

I have them in with the youngest pygmy cory babies so these won't get eaten by older siblings.

Gave the baby pygmies a mini clay pot and a couple of them immediately took to it
