I recently rescued an Oscar Saturday night as a last minute decision. A woman on Facebook had contacted me at 10:00pm saying she had an Oscar sitting in a bucket for hours (No air stone or heater ) waiting for someone to come pick it up that never showed. I agreed to take in the Oscar, she drove it down to me and it was not feeling well for the first 24 Hours. Last night I noticed she kinda has craters around her sensory pits.. could this be the start of hole in the head? I’m getting ahold of Some general cure today. I Did a large water change/gravel vacuum. I think this could have been caused by previous bad water conditions, the live feeder fish it was fed and the stress/shock from sitting in the bucket for hours/ new tank environment. I tried to get a decent picture of it’s facial area.
