My flounder just sits on the bottem, and disappears under the sand. But as you can see he comes out sometimes. But then it the mornings i sometimes see him up on the side of the glass. So i like him. You like the Cory Cat, i will try to get some more picks of them.

just to let you know maniac, your flounder is a brackish fish and might not survive longer than 6 months in a freshwater tank. he is still young though and therefore can survive in freshwater but he should be gradually weaned to brackish.
i started my flounders off with 1 1/2- 2 tablespoons of instant ocean per gallon.

ladyminion-flounders are quite cheap. they are 2-5 dollars here. most people dont have any luck with flounders because they dont know how to properly care for them. there is much conflicting info on the internet about them.
they are also called hogchokers.
they are extremely peaceful fish that should be kept with other peaceful fish. they cannot have gravel or else they will crush themselves trying to bury into it. they must have sand. in nature (they are from mainly estuaries in te south) they sift through mud and sand to eat tiny crustaceans. i feed mine tetra nature delica bloodworms (the gel in the squeeze packet) and frozen foods. i have tried live brine shrimp but the other fish get to them before the flounders do. flounders are my favorite fish :)
