I agree totally. But it will be hard to gravel vacuum. And extra food can get caught.
I like how it looks! Especially on the branch. You could make a nice thick patch of it somewhere and that may be more manageable. Gravel is okay, too.Have been trying to achieve a nice green-carpeted plant on my soft gravel substrate. But I can't since every carpet I got need 3 day shipping day so this is what I do
Basically I toss java moss leftover to the tank.
And I know I am going to regret this sooner or later and vacuum the java moss up.
