Hi ya'll. I cannot get right size of my tank.
There is this wooden bit (rim/bracket whatever) and it measures 4.6 cm high. Do I or don't I include that bit when measuring the tank?
Its dimensions (including the wooden bit) are W- 35 (13") cm, H- 50 (19") cm and L- 80 (31") cm -
Dimensions (wooden bit is excluded) are W- 35 cm, H- 45 (17") cm and L- 80 cm

What is the size of my tank?

I would say its too long for 29 gal and below..
And so sorry for the mess on my desk

I would only measure the glass. (Don’t include the wood in the measuring)

A 29g tank should have dimensions of 30 1/4 x 12 1/2 x 18 3/4. (Inches)

A 20g long will have the dimensions of 30 1/4 x 12 1/2 x 12 3/4 (inches)

As you can see, they are exactly the same, except a 29g is 6 inches taller.

You can also use the forum's calculator :)

So I only measure the glass? My tank is 31 inches long, 17/18 inches high, 13 inches width. What I meant with the wood, there is a bit that is about 1 and a half cm high and then is the 4.6 cm high wood bit.
That is what confuses me so much. I'll re-measure it again later and I'll put it in the aquarium calc,. I hope it is a 29 gallon or 30 gallon.

I would guess 33 gallons. Which is a weird tank size might I add. :dunno:

I also used this one. I agree, its a weir tank size, but it was made by a human :fun:

My Juwel Rio is that size, 125 litre and 80x35x45. :)

Yes, very adaptable size that lends itself to good set ups and stocking.
Does yours have the Juwel logo?
