This.... what? I was researching how many cherry shrimp I could keep in a 1.5g tank... came across this website (https://fishtankmaster.com/best-fish-for-1-gallon-tank/)

A gold fish is ok in a 1g, for a casual hobbyist, but not if you are a seasoned aquarist. What's the difference? Theres no difference for the fish, only the fish keeper. Lol it just frustrates me

That seems a little excessive. Either way, there's going to be a population explosion if you have a mixed-sex in a 1.5-gallon aquarium.
I have a ten gallon as well for them, I would just like to have someone occupying my 2 one gallons by my bed, and I would never put a betta in there

Good to know. Mine never got to breeding, I had an accident with the aquarium after I left for a weekend, so I don't have too much experience with a shrimp colony I guess. But when I said 15, I probably should have specified no not go over 15 shrimp.

The buckets I use for water changes hold more water than that. Why would you buy a 1 gallon tank anyway? It costs 10 x as much as a 5 gallon bucket.

I have had them for years, when I was little and literally none of us knew anything about fish each of us kids had a betta in them
