Yes the plastic ones are even smaller and dont have as much water flow exciting to have babies
Ok cool. That will work for a few days for the fry. I would reccomend getting something larger or another tank 10-15 gallons for the fryThis is the one I have I can also take a picture of it in the tank
Its possible he was hiding the whole time. They are very good at that. Question: how could you tell from the top fin? The way to sex them is from the anal fin.@JuiceBox52 oh here’s a weird but a question that has my mind blown right now I did my weekly water change today and found a loose swimming guppy who definitely looks older and way bigger then the 2 batches that 2 moms just had these last 2 days and I’m able to tell it’s a male by the top fin is that even possible I got the fish on feb 29th??? I’m completely speechless because I do weekly water changes and decided to use my new vacuum I got to clean the bottom when I spotted him
The longer dorsal fins are more common in males but can still appear on females the best way to tell is by the anal fin this image is from wikihowThe top fin on the bigger baby is way different then a females top fin it looks exactly like the top fins on my male guppies I have. So I just figured it was was boy cause the fins looked very similar to my males
happy to helpOoooo ok now I see definitely can’t see those fins just yet lol
