My snails must have their own taxi service going on in the tank. I see them all the time doing hitchhiking in the back of one and other and drop off when they’ve reach the destination

I have mystery snails chestnut and golden and the MTS. But not sure if the one on the top is a mystery with the patterns it has.

I had golden mystery snails they are very good looking snails but my snails went after my plants and did a lot of damage so I gave them away. Now I have nerite snails which are smaller and do not move around my tanks as fast.

I haven’t had that problem, they love the duckweed tho. They float around on the bottom of the duckweed eating it

They ate 1and 1/2 hornwort, 2moneywort and 3 jungle val, about the only plants they left alone were my ferns. But they were really good at cleaning my castle and the glass.

Throw a head of lettuce in the tank. That should keep them well fed and away from your remaining plants. Hungry little devils.

They are pretty interesting little creatures when you watch them to be honest. I love sitting there watching my shrimp swim and play around the tank and I end up sidetracked watching the snails

I too am rather fascinated by snails, but I have one tank that gets literally THOUSANDS in a months time - and either I'm overfeeding to the farthest extreme or they are just lazy because I never see them eating anything but my plants. I clean out hundreds every week at water changing time and sometimes a second time midweek and then hundreds more at the next water change. I can only take so much fascination. I have plenty of algae eating fish and my overfeeding days are (almost) over. The other two large tanks have only a few and I feed them in a similar manor - the only thing unique about this tank is that is a 29 gal Acrylic rather than a 29 gal Glass. (Get the glass, Acrylic isn't ready for primetime quite yet)
