So yesterday I bought 2 new fancy guppies. I have never owned fish before but I made sure to do my research. The tank is cycled, conditioned, and it only contains live plants. But today I noticed that the water is foggy, there are tiny bubbles on top, and one of my fish has white stringy poop. The fog and bubbles were not there until I added my two fish in. I have researched the possible causes for white poop but I am confused as to what treatment I should do. My fish is acting normal, and eating so I would like to know possible treatments for him and the causes of the other issues.

Not sure about the white poop but cloudy water is common on new tanks, usually due to bacterial bloom.
When in doubt do a water change, water change cant hurt.
How bigs tank? What kind of filter?

It is a ten gallon with an aqua clear 5-20 gal filter

The fish could have internal infection or parasites (worms). Treat with medication containing praziquantel or flubendazole.
Bacterial blooms on a new tank usually clear in a day or so. I do wonder if this means the tank is not actually cycled. Please check your method by reading up on cycling in the beginners section.

Hollywood333, could you tell us exactly how you cycled the tank, please. There are a few ways to cycle a tank and we need to know which one you used to give us a better idea of what's going on

Do you test your water? Can you give us your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate readings?
