Hi Guys

The above is what I started doing a couple of years ago, I got addicted (as I do all hobby ventures) and then after messing up my last paint job I fell out with it and started selling the kits i had collected so I could buy a tank and start with fish again. I did have a decent collection of nearly 100 kits some of which are quite rare and also invested in a really good airbrush.

We moved house a few months ago and I claimed the garage to transform into my model room, this is where my tank ia as my other half wont let me have it in the living room.

Anyway here are some of my completed builds, the Skyline has green - blue flip paint which changes are you rotate it, the bike is a replica of Casey Stoners Honda RC211V which he rode in 2006, the bike I also won model of the month on a forum I was on.

More builds,

I have more but I wont bore you with them

wow....not boring at all...post some more of your builds

I collect miniature cars and ceramic diners which display well together.   But I don't build them,  I just buy and display them.  Nowhere near as nice as your custom builds.

Thanks, you can actually buy some diners as model kits you know? I never have though but I have been tempted.
I bet those took some painting. Cool though very cool

I hope you enjoyed my model cars, and if I got any names of the cars wrong, please let me know! :)

Nice cars Pheonixkingz. I also set up a “route 66” themed 0 scale model railroad layout. I’ll put up a video soon.

Sweet! Will you please also post a picture of the set? Videos never come through on my iPad (I’m not sure why.)

P.S. Lol, it’s my bad Wi-Fi. Videos won’t load. :)

Here’s photo of train layout. I set this up on top of an upright player piano as that is the only place with enough room.

Other files were too large.. only one posted

WOW! You guys are something else. I have plastic models of mostly WW2 aircraft and ships. Modeling is really fun especially when you have the fish to stare at when those tiny parts are driving you nuts. I like my balsa wood gliders and rubber powered models too. "How far did that rubber powered model fly Mr. Dorffman, 300 yards" "It was 300 meters Captain Townes". I like my model rockets too. There is definitely something in the water on this forum. Pun intended.

Lol, I love modeling to! The fish really do help in stressful moments, that is part of the reason I love fish keeping! :)

Pennsylvania Flyer 0 scale train/ car model layout with a Route 66 theme:

This 0 scale layout is about 55 inches high and is set on top of an upright player piano on double layers of 8 inch wide fir boards cut to the 60 inch be 30 inch oval size and has a chrome border. This setup would make moving the layout fairly easy. It features ceramic diners and 2 ceramic buildings, 3 Miller Engineering signs, 1/43 scale diecast cars and is remote or bluetooth controlled. The Rt 66 motel is custom made. Lighting is in handmade led fixtures and all wiring is hidden. Enjoy the trip on route 66!
