Leaking Tank Leads To New Beginnings

Any other ideas ? Also still need an id on the plant if someone can help please.

For that driftwood... where did you get it? Your LFS, or out in the wild? Because I was thinking of next time my family goes on a trip, picking up some driftwood then soaking it for a few months.

Ive had most of it for a while that I got from several LFS, some of the more recent lighter wood is from eBay.
 
I have often thought of doing the same but it comes with risk, firstly you would need to identify what type of wood it is as not all would be safe, secondly there is more to it than boiling and soaking. all loose bark would need to be removed, it would need to be treated (ive read that lemon juice is a good safe natural way of doing that but depending on the size of the wood that could be a lot of lemons to squeeze. ) then on top of all that there would be lots of scrubbing and sanding.

My tank just looks so artificial. Plastic rock, plastic plants... some gravel, and 2 real plants. I might just pick up some from Petsmart and then soak one piece from my family's trip.

lol, you must have more patience than me, im lazy and pay for wood that someone's already put the work in for me

so since the last pictures I have added the U2 Fluval filter 6 hatchet fish and increased my cardinals to 17 and my panda corries to 6

I've got some Bucephalandra coming but I haven't got any thread left to tie them on, pretty sure plastic zip/cable ties are ok to you, is this correct?
