230 Gallon Reef Tank.

I haven't seen any for sale in any of my LFS but if I can find one I intend to.

Over the past few days I got some coral from my brothers tank. I got two blue mushrooms, one pinkish brown ricordia mushroom and a big rock with lots of pulsing Xenia. I love soft coral so I'm hoping to have these corals grow into big colonies. I'm not a fan of a reef tank with tons of small coral colonies I'd rather have a few choice corals and big colonies so that's kinda what I'm shooting for.

Now I have this bad habit of searching craigslist for saltwater stuff but I think it paid off this time. Yesterday I found a lady who was selling off her whole tank and getting out of the hobby she had a massive and I do mean massive rock totally covered with green star polyps she was only asking 20$ for it so I headed to her house with the firm idea this was probably to good to be true like most things turn out to be in this hobby got there and it was an awesome piece of coral so I got it and while I was at it I purchased her frag rack which has about 90-100 zoas and palythoas on it so I'm going to work on getting them fraged and moved around the tank as I like. Here's some more pics :)

Very nice, its getting there :)

And sounds like a very good buy too.

Went to my LFS today and found this little guy and I had to get him because what reef tank is complete without a yellow tang lol. He's doing just fine and even ate some brine shrimp so hopefully he will settle right in and be healthy.
