I've noticed a strange "bump" on the side of one of my guppy females and didn't think much of it until I saw it today. The first thing that comes to mind is a tumor but I'm not fish doctor and I would like some more opinions. Her spine right near the head is curved and there is a large protruding area on the side. None of the other fish have this and she had a batch of fry about two weeks ago (the first time I noticed something off). Is there anything I can do for her?

I also think she is about a week or so pregnant.
Edit: She's eating as much as the rest and swims without much problem save for the fact that her side kinda drags that side of the body a little down.
Edit #2: I've done some more research and it seems that she is pineconing. Anything I can do?

She might have a tumor.  I'm not sure, sorry! Where fish are so small it can be hard to diagnose them and I don't know anything about a tumor either. :(

Yea, it would seem like it could be a tumor. I guess for now I'll just leave her in the main tank for a little while longer and see how she hold up. Her eating is perfectly fine and she is swimming and active. Maybe she will have her fry before I have to euthanize her. Thank you for your reply either way! Happy holidays!

My fish got that and dided 2 days after sorry:(

You can just about make out the pineconing in those photos, which would tend to indicate dropsy. Unfortunately, very little can be done about that. You can try giving the fish a bath in Epsom Salts for 20 minutes per day, to try to draw out the fluid within the body, but I don't hold out much hope.

I was also trying to figure out if I was seeing pineconing or a blurry photo.
