Male Swordtail Ignoring Female

Hi,
I had only one male sword tail and I added a female yesterday. But the male seems to ignore the dale all the time. Female is slightly bigger than the male. Could that be a reason. I had a orange spotted dalmation female Molly, this male sword tail constantly bullied the Molly and it died yesterday. That's the reason I got a new female for this sword fish. But the male is ignoring the female. I am new to this hobby. Please advise why my Mae sword tail is ignoring the female.

He's probably just getting used to the new circumstances. He's a livebearer, he'll get the idea soon enough. If you have the space, it'd be a good idea to get another female swordtail, as the male might also harass this female to death too. With 2 to choose from, they'll each get a bit of a break from him.

Try raising the temp.  Livebearers like it around 80 F.   Other than that just feed them well and do regular water changes.  It shouldn't take too long for him to get the hang of it.

Try that with my Ilyodon xantusi and they will die within weeks, not all livebearers are mainstream tropical (~75F/25C), never mind high end tropical ~80F/28C.

Still no luck . I guess male is afraid of female due to size of female. Female is much bigger than male.

That shouldn't make a difference.
 
How big is your tank and is it cycled?

I have attached the pictures of my tank,a, better picture of make and female. Please see, the picture the female has lately started developing black spots in her body. Is this a disease or is it normal. My tank size is 54 L and I change the water once in every 10 to 15 days.

You need to do weekly water changes. Did you cycle the tank first before adding fish??? There is information about fishless cycling and fish in cycling on this forum. It's very helpful. If your tank isn't cycled then this is probably going to end up being a fish in cycle and you need to do more water changes. If you don't have a test kit I would get one. I suggest API freshwater master kit. Cheapest I've found it was on amazon. 
 
I'm unsure about the black spots. Someone might be able to answer that one. 
 
My male swordtail seems fine with the ladies. He has two and then there is a female platy in the tank he seems to like to chase around.
