Nice color the males anual fin is a little long. and his top line is not that straight. The female looks great. You will get some nice fry for sure.

I think you will the female looks really nice so its a good match. You try and pick a female that will fix your males flaws because no fish is perfect. Can't wait to see the babies.

That is true! I was happy to get the female that I did get......I really couldn't believe how well these two fish got along....I never had a spawning session go so smoothly....I hope that the fry do as well as their parents did....I will definitely post pictures as I go along...snowflake311 said:

Wanted to give a quick update on the fry progress....daddy has been very busy taking care of his babies! Hasn't stopped picking them up and putting them back in the nest......seems like everything is going OK so far.....

I definitely have to get a better camera with a better zoom!!! If only I stopped spending all my money on fish "stuff" I could maybe get one....lol....my camera isn't too bad, but need a much better one to capture the tiny fry for sure....
No matter how many spawns I do, I am ALWAYS so amazed with these fish and how they breed...I just love watching "my babies" grow into beautiful fish.....
PS---I have a 19 year old son that officially calls me the "crazy fish lady"......little (big) brat!!! lol
