How many fish and which type?
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Can you describe what you are seeing, as the pics are blurry.
The faded mark does it look fluffy like cotton wool.
Just one more question.
Could the betta of killed the molly

its like letting the air bubbles blow it around then going to the top for air back down to the bottom for a while then back up to the top
the black fish at the top id say it looks as if the scales have been sucked off it or maybe its faded scales id say more faded than sucked also its eyes dont seem there
i did a full water change before i put the fish in put some tap safe in also just added more when i got home to find the dead one

Is this a new tank, which has only been set up 2 days.
Isolate the fish from the fighter fish, it could be attacking them.
Have the eyes of the fish been sucked out?

we got the tank given to us and it only had 1 pleco in at the time this was like 5days ago i cleaned the full tank then put the pleco back in then 2days later we got some baby molly's then the day after we went to the fish shop and got the betta 3 molly's and some other fish let me find what it is
the dead fish i have just been messing near its eyes and the eye ball seems twisted inside

If you go the lfs pick a bacterial med up just incase.
I used to buy esha 2000. Myxazin by waterlfe.
Don't know anything about common pleco. As I never kept them.
Ask about them in the plec section of the forum.

this spot thing on the betta is getting bigger by the minute it seems to be going onto its tail now 
its fin at the back seems to be getting stringy also
just read somewhere about a sick betta might spit its food out and thats what he had been doing
if i take this fish out and put it in a bowl of some sort how am i going to heat the bowl up for it i only have one heater should i just leave it in the tank till morning or get it out now?

40Lt isnt that big a tank, from what i understand you have about 8 or so fish, yes? how big is your plec, the chances are your tank is too small, you also said the tank was given to you with the plec in, then you cleaned the full tank, how did you do this and did you clean the filter?
1 plec 2 molly's about 2cm's tetra about 2cm's and loads of baby molly's like 1/2 a cm long
ye i cleaned the full thing filter also i put the plec in a bowl then tipped the water down the sink rinsed the gravel in warm and cold water then used a sponge and warm and cold water on the tank same with each part of the filter wasnt till the next day the person who gave it us said i should not of cleaned it fully because some of the dirty water is good for them or something like that
oh and i also added tapsafe after i cleaned the tank and also put abit more in before when i found the dead fish
