Just Set Up My Tank

just set up my new tropical tank this morning and wondered why its has lots of little bubbles and lines all aorund the inside?

thats normal.. when the tank gradually heats up they go.. you can help them along with your hand or magnetic cleaner tho :)
 
ok thanks for that ,i have also attached a photo, was thinking of putting a cave in back right hand corner, would that be to much in the tank or not(sorry for poor quality of picture)

dont think it would be too much at all ( i know ive never stuck with 1 idea for very long,so its nice to experiment.. have u thought about coconut caves)..i notice some light coming through from behind? if i were you i would stick on black bin bags ( that looks better than it sounds believe me) and of course youre free to change when you get the backing you want, just saves hassle with algae ( ive used this method with all my tanks.

is a lamp on table next to it, planning getitng a background for it next time iam near fish shop
 
The bubbles are there because it there wasn't enough aeration when you added it. When you do a water change be sure to swish the water around in the bucket that your using before you add it to the tank. Those bubbles could be deadly to the fish.

but just cycling it just now surely in 4 weeks when i add fish they,ll be gone?

Yep. I was just warning you when you have fish in there. ;)

For now its fine. :)
