 Here's my new female guppy, which I named Laci. I loved her peach colored tail from the moment I saw her and had to buy her. It's quite obvious that she's pregnant! :fish:

awww shes gorgeous sasha!!!! :) congratssss :d:D:D you are going to have too many babies! :) but do something with the filter !!!

did you do somethin?

:) Thanks DOLORES! I'm still working on a way to cover the intake pipe for the filter so no more fish get sucked up.

why dont you buy a cheap fish net, (those are the one's with bigger little holes in it) and cover the intake? i kno u already tried this, but maybe the holes werent big enough :/

Great looking guppie.

Have you tried cutting the foot off nylon panty hose and fastening it to the intake tube with a small rubberband? Worked for me. :dunno:

:) Thanks cometcattle! Laci's belly is getting BIG! I'll let you know when fry start popping out!

-_- I tried wrapping a net and some panty hose around the intake tube, but I still find the fish's bodies coiled around it. I don't know how to prevent small fish from being sucked up! :/

*pats sasha on back*is there a switch to decrease the flow of the filter?if not try to get a sponge filter.let us know when the babies come into a new world

:) Yes, the filter has adjustable flow speed and it's always set on the lowest. Laci still hasn't had her fry yet!

Here's an above veiw of her . . . she's the FAT one on the left. :hyper:

wow my black balloon molly looks just like that from above.gl with the babies.hmm all i can think of is umm do you have a spare tank that is cycled.if you do put in a sponge filter and put laci in there.my babies used to get sucked up in my whisper filter.then i put in a sponge filter and no fatalities.

;) I have a 2.5 gallon tank that used to house fry (I moved them all into my 29 gallon tank for more space.) The tank is fully cycled and only contains a bunch of snails. It has a bio filter and around the intake tube I wrapped a net around it tp prevent fry from being sucked up.
