Nice! I've been wanting to get baby tears too. Love the way it looks.

yea, I saw it and it looked soooo perfect! I had to get it! I'm hoping it will spread a little. I'm also waiting to find some kind of grass or java moss, or maybe a fern? Might get a lily plant, not sure bc I've had 2 in a tank before and my betta wasn't too happy when it almost covered the top of the tank, I had to cut it down at least once or twice a month so he could breathe...but in the 60gal it might be alright this time...

looks nice, you could do with a few more mid ground plants :good:

Just keep your eye on the swords as they will drop there old leaves. When they do just snip from the base of the crown.

Thanks! I'll def keep a look out, I only got those 3 bc they were the best looking plant they had, the others had algae all over them and I didn't want to put that in my tank, I'm waiting for them to get a new shipment in, hoping they get some moss in or something, any ideas on what kind of plants I should keep an eye out for in the LFS?

So I've had a few guppies die and one platy female die, IDK what happened with her, she looked like she had a bruise on the side of her, she was just sitting at the bottom, she would swim a little but not much, so I went and got a few new guppies, I'll put some pictures up soon, trying to get pictures of them is almost impossible. My plants are growing pretty well, the only one that hasn't grown much is the baby tears.

Here is the new plant I've added, sorry it's been so long, my baby tears totally disintegrated so I got an anubias to replace it

Don't mind the cloudy water, have been having a problem with it lately...

A little bit of advice for your Anubias, keep the rhizome out of the gravel, just the roots you want under the gravel otherwise the rhizome will rot and it will die. :)

So I finally got some black sand and a few more plants to add in, and here is what it looks like now! What do you think? Don't mind the cloudy water, planting stirred up some mess...I'll add more pictures when it clears up

I'm afraid all those plants in the front are not aquarium plants. Put 'em in a pot and stick 'em on the windowsill.

The green and white striped plants are not aquarium plants and will rot with time and foul your tank. The rest of the plants look pretty good. And also, with an apple snail, you need to leave some air space at the stop so it can go up and breathe.

Update, I think I'm going to have some baby snails! I'm sooo excited! I've kept snails for years and have never had any babies!!!
