Ok.. I've got three pictures here. This is what I bought my husband last year when he came back from an 8.5 month cruise (navy) I'm not sure what it is. I know it was 530 dollars (just for the car, not for the extra stuff we got for it!!!) We got an extra body for it too. A subaru (we own a 2000 subaru impreza 2.5 RS (2 door) and a 1999 Subaru impreza outback sport. The obs is mine.) So obviously we like subarus. The other one came on the car. So this first pic is the subaru body.. which yes its missing its spoiler. It broke... hes got to fix that.

For many people they are more than a toy. They have internatianol competitions.
Yes it is gas powered. And a really powerful one too at 70 mph right out of the box. We bought it at Rose Crafts. They have the hobby section in there. (My husband was all mad cause I made him go to the craft store with me!! I showed him didn't I!! Some very nice cars in there, pitty I don't like electric!! not powerful enough for me.
I have had a HPI nitro MT which got seriously upgraded as i plinked a .21 engine in there, went through the spur gears so quickly so I gave that up last April and now ready to buy again.
Just waiting for the car to be realeased!!

I just read today (elsewhere) with a little tinfoil for better results some bored RCers have been using their petrol RC cars to set off speed cameras
