My Little MANDY is Gone!!!

:-( I still can't believe that my 6 month old ballloon molly Mandy is gone! She sadly got sucked up into the filter . . . the same way her mom Mindy died. I loved her so much and miss her terribly! :wub: Well, here's a few picrures to remember my little angel . . . Mandy. :( (It'll be difficult to post her pictures because I'm still very heartbroken that the memories of her are bringing tears to my eyes. See! I'm crying right now eventhinking about her! Well, here it goes!)

maybe its time to put something over the intake so your fish dont get sucked up anymore...

she was a nice lookin molly
 
Auratus - I love balloon mollies! I would glady accept them, but I have no idea how fish are shipped. Are you willing to ship the balloon mollies? -_-

thellama - I tried to wrap a net around the intake pipe but the water flow would be too slow so I removed it. I was surprised that the other fry (even ones half her size) avoided the filter . . . all except Mandy! :-(

Mindy was so beautiful, and Mandy was such a little sweetheart. :wub: I'm very sorry for your losses Sasha. I know how much those two ment to you, especially Mandy. :sad: :-( :byebye: You have my deepest sympathies.
 
im sorry to hear that she went like that, you can put a stocking (pantyhose) over the intake and that wont slow it down but keep them from going up. My molly just had 12 fry..your more than welcome to have some, i just need to figure out shipping.

:) Bittersweet - Thanks for offering me some of your molly fry. I don't think you need to ship them if you live in New Hampshire . . . that's were I live! :hyper:
