hi,

i'm having some trouble with my Superfish Aquarium Digi Thermometer, when i put a battery into it, it displays "L oC" does anyone know what this means? i've tried changing the batteries, but doesn't seem to help. not sure what i can do, because there aren't any buttons on it, and no instructions with the box.

think that means Low (Lo) temp so it can't detect it. Have you tried putting it in some warm water, see if you get a reading then?

thanks for the reply, yeh it's in my aquarium, which is at 22 degrees C. i tried it in a bucket of hot water too, no change

hmmm, sounds like you may have a dud. Is it new? Has it ever showed anything except L 0c?

good news, i gave it a old fashioned knock or two just before i would have binned it. Thermometer is now working!! must have been a loose connection inside?
