I'm sorry to have to say that I don't think these are kribs. On the up side this page about Pelvicachromis Taeniatus starts off: "Long sought by hobbyists" so it looks like you've got a good one there
They are the same family as kribs which are P. Pulcher.
I would imagine the care requirements are much the same, but have a look on the page above and also have a google for them.

I've tried to do some research on the taeniatus species, but when looking at the pictures, I can't really find which kind of taeniatus it would be...
They still look more like p. pulcher...
Well, as I'm typing this, the male shows signs that he wants to breed for the first time!! he's shaking in front of the female (which is in the flowerpot)
