Yes, she is a Pomeranian and she has her papers. Her breeder's bred some show-quality dogs, but Cici is a pet-quality dog. Too big and some errors in the head and ears. It is difficult to breed them down to the current 4-7lb standard as the breed was originally a 30lb dog! That was a while back, but durng Victoria's reign, they were still 10-15lbs. Sometimes when you expand the genetic pool, which this breeder liked doing to prevent typical inbreeding problems, you'll get a throw-back to a larger dog. Cici is about 9lbs. The way I see it, there is just more of her to love.

As usual, around this time of the month, I'm busy compiling the poll for the next POTM competition and I'm always so scared that I may not notice nominated and seconded pics in all the threads that was posted during April, so please, If anyone knows of qualifying photos, please bring it to my attention and I will move them accross to the nominations thread..... I'd hate to have started the poll and some of the valid entries are not entered.

Also, if there are more pics you want to nominate and/or second, now is the time... we have 3 days left and 10 entries so far where we normally average between 14 and 17... so let it roll!!
