hi
the cory egg i hatched & raised with all your good help has grown up and last night i decided to move him/her into a bigger tank - its now in our betta, khuli & cory 40L tank & so far looks very happy, have seen it out & about eating this morning. fingers crossed it continues to thrive, ive raised baby mollies & swordies before but never a fish from an egg so very excited.......thanks again to those who gave me the advice.

Aww what a cutie,i added my juvi's trilineatus to the main tank last week
Gorgeous cory you have :good:

You can just see the 2 wee ones hunting out the algae wafers :)

You did a good job there, millym. :yahoo: I hope you decide to raise some more the next time the opportunity presents itself. :)

Good job and Great pic. How did you decide he was ready for big tank life? I have one that looks to be a similar size but I want to be absolutely sure he's ready before releasing him.

hi & thanks, i judged he was ready when i thought he was too big for our betta to eat him!!! we had small amano shrimp in the betta tank even smaller than baby cory and the betta never even looked sideways at them plus theres loads of caves and plants in the betta tank so lots of hidey holes for a little fish.........but i have to say i was relieved to see the little guy the next morning so was a teeny bit worried. i just thought the constant ( daily) water changes i did in the small container he was in, floating in our big tank, might have been a bit stressful for him, and just thought he would do much better in the betta tank & so far so good. our betta khuli & cory tank ( where baby cory now is) is the one on the far left in my signature pic.
