Gorgeous looking tanks and fantastic stock lists!!! :D They really are fantastic!

thanks people :)im still trying to get big tank as clear as small tank (small tank has uv),im going to try purigen, will let you know if it works..
quick question does anyone know where to get lamp eye killifish from?i got those about 4 years ago and only have 2 left for some reason the 4 boys gradually popped off about 6months ago and now i only have 2 girls,do females live longer than males?

Nice tanks. Of course I love the praecox rainbows. If you feed them a lot of spirulina, their blue will intensify. Also, great gravel choice. Dark gravel makes rainbows look their best.

Spirulina flake food. It can be found at most LFS.

Sure, they will survive on tropical flake, but they really need a lot of vegetable matter in their diet. Spirulina flake fed as a staple with feeding blanched shelled peas and fresh vegetables like cucumber, zucchini, and squash fed a few times a week goes a long way to their coloration and health. Only feed frozen foods 1 or 2 times a week. Live food such as daphnia, chopped earthworm, and mosquito larvae are very nutritious and should be fed like frozen foods, 1 or 2 times a week.
