Fish Crazy
Hey all,
Have a couple of pictures of my two tanks. Will give a little description of the life of each tank
My freshwater tropical tank has been with me for 1 year and 1 month. I had it on my 19th birthday out of my own birthday money. I started off with 1 betta and 10 tetras but had a grumpy betta that didn't really like the tetras? I bought fish after fish from Pet at Home in my area and they seemed to keep dying. They ranged from mollies to puffers to sharks.
In the end I gave up all hope and change stores. I took my current stock at the time back to Pets at home as I was having no luck with the tank at all. I took everything out of the tank and rescaped the whole thing. Put sand in got some bog wood and other more realistic looking fake plants and off course an ornamnet that looked like tree roots.
I tried again with pets at home with no success so I change my store to another one MaidenHead Aquatics. From there the fish seemed to do alot better and were not dying. After a while I decided that I wanted to try and breed fish, so I took all the stock back again and I bought a male and female pair of Kribensis.
Having no problems at all they had babies within a month. I raised the fry up to over an inch and sold them to maidenhead and along with the Birthday cash I bought a River Reef tank for marines.
They have since produced babies again and Below are the pictures of the new generation plus two from the first bathc that managed to avoid capture when I took them all to the store. Enjoy.
This is mum.
Newest bacth of fry.
The two that escaped capture.
Full Tank Shot.
Tank Shot from the side.
I will Write the Marine review below.
