You sure that is not a real picture??? I have some friends with a HUGE, EXTREMELY FLUFFY white and orange cat. They get him shaved each summer because his far is so thick, it gets extremely matted and it's too hot for it in Arkansas during the summer. A couple of times, the vet left a tuft of hair on his tail and he looked EXACTLY like that pic (except for being orange and white).

I have a couple of cats and they've both had that same haircut.
Every couple of years they go nuts and run out into a rain storm and their hair gets so matted that I can't comb it out so I take them to the barber.
