this is my geophagus brariliensis, been in a hospital tank for well over 3 weeks now! Dont think the pics are too clever so i will explain, it started with white dots, not white spot, more like small white growths randomly situated all over the body. I started treatment with myxazin as i thought it may have been some sort of bacterial disease. After the full course and some days later realise nothing was getting better, actually getting worse! I left it about 4 days and tried protazin as it was increasingly resembling velvet disease, still nothing has changed, it is not eating and stays dark and keeps its fins tight to the body and is becoming very thin, so is worrying me now! I had 3 but all turned out male n constantly had fights, so sold the 2 smaller ones and kept the biggest most brightly coloured one! This was all a few weeks ago. And now this!
I dont want to loose this fish so any info or advice will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
David

Bless him he does look a mess.
The small white growths did they look like cauliflower or a cluster of berries.
I would add some pimafix with the myxazin.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.
