Guppy Juves - 2 Months What Do You Think Could We Improve These?

We have let our guppies in the community tank get on eith it themselves rather than trying to look to selective breeding.

We had one drop which I did not spot in time and lost hakf the fry, the other half were placed in a breeding trap while we were away over xmas, some were clever (or Not) and escaped to the main tank, all perished. so we have these 3 left, they have all turned out to be males.

There is one which is particularly stunning and looks very much like one of these:

Now I realise there is a differnece between the perfect Champion and one that is 80% there. But my son and I would like to find a breeding project to understand the process, and we have 30 odd fry from the next drop which are coming on nicely. What should we be looking for in the females coming through to go with these guys or any of the males that show promise.

So for those of you that breed can you give us some guidance on where to start?
