I tried to breed him and let's just say he came out of his shell after a few days showing off for a girl. Also, a week or so ago he was sick, but now he's much better. 
Note - his colors are more like the first pic, the blue is just a tad darker.
This guy is so pretty, she wanted a red so here he is!! He is more rosy red than what the cam shows, and has blue highlights on each scale. I also adore his tail - not the normal veil, very round. He's so purty, if she doesn't love him I'M keeping him. Here he is - checking out his new spacious bowl! That is too cute! 
That veiltail you got for your sister is one nice fella. My nephew picked one out like that,has the rounded solid tail. I thought it looked funny at first,but it just has really thick fins. Awwww baby! They are gorgeous!juliethegr8t said:

I adore this fish already, he is so active and has a great personality. He's healthy as a horse too. Isn't that the prettiest tail?? And and and.. *sigh*
